Meet Our Audiologist, Laura
My name is Laura Stone, I live in Oswestry with my husband and 3 children & I’ve been a HCPC registered hearing aid dispenser since 2017.
I qualified with a distinction at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge in 2017, and in 2018 completed micro-suction wax removal training at Aston University in Birmingham.
From 2018-2023 I was the hearcare director for the green giant of the hearing and optical world in Wrexham, Oswestry and Denbigh. Since leaving Specsavers at the beginning of 2023 I’ve worked with independent hearing clinics in Shropshire, Cheshire and North Wales providing all aspects of hearing care, alongside my own private wax removal business, which I’ve have now expanded to create Cambrian Hearing Ltd.
I’m a hearing aid wearer myself so know first hand how it feels to learn you have hearing loss (my husband was definitely not as surprised as I was by this news!) and what it’s like to wear hearing aids on a daily basis.
I’m really excited to bring a fully independent, family run hearing practice to Old Chapel Court, Oswestry.
